| 要約: | This study focused on neighborhood participation as a means of identifying the main needs of a locality whose standard of living is conditioned. Thus, the main objective of this research is oriented to provide timely solutions to the development of social organizations through participatory mechanisms to which citizens have access. Therefore, to fulfill the general objective of this work, a series of specific objectives are established starting from: Collaborate with the neighborhood organization in the diagnosis of its main problems, then providing training on citizen participation mechanisms to empower neighborhood leadership, and finally assisting in the generation of spaces for neighborhood residents to participate in front of local institutional authorities, aimed at mitigating citizen demands. Likewise, the research was carried out with an inductive methodology which in turn had a mixed approach, i.e., both qualitative and quantitative data obtained through the applied tools were analyzed. In addition, an exploratory and descriptive study design was applied in which no variables were altered and the present work is cross sectional. Throughout this research, we collaborated with a series of stakeholders, to establish which are the problems that persist in the neighborhood, to later determine that the main ones are drinking water, sewage, and public lighting. Next, training on participatory mechanisms was implemented to empower citizens and finally, an action plan was developed, consisting of a set of proposals focused on solving the main problems identified. |
