| Sumari: | The linguistic game for the development of the human being is a didactic strategy that allows the acquisition of comprehension skills, learning skills in a fun way and creative in phonetic development. For this reason, the objective has been established and determines how the Linguistic games improve phonological awareness in children of the Initial level II, using a mixed approach facilitates analyzing and finding out the data qualitatively and quantitatively, a descriptive scope was maintained for the collection of information on the variables, the study was developed with a quasi-experimental design, and the methods with which they worked inductive - deductive that facilitated the realization of a specific analysis and gave sense and order to the work, with the analytical-synthetic analysis sought separately from the problem variable and the solution variable and the selection of information was allowed to build the theoretical framework. We work with the ECOL test or Evaluation of Communication and Language made by Aleman, aimed at children from 3 to 7 years old, who helped to know the level of performance of the children in the different aspects of language was obtained as result in the application of the pre-test, 65% were located at a low level of responses in the spontaneous language, voice production, words, phonetic discrimination, articulation of words, phonological processes in the development of language, and after the intervention of the activity guide, 83% of high-level responses were obtained, revealing that if there was improvement, evidencing the importance of language games as a strategy for the improvement of phonological awareness.
