Shrnutí:Patient management service is highly important to any area or medical specialty, the clinical history is the greatest concern of health centers, because of their conservation and maintenance have been a disadvantage. This situation has caused that even WHO promote the implementation of new technologies in this area to improve the quality of medical care and facilitate the conservation of the clinical history of their patients. With this motivation in mind, the objective of this research work is to design a software architecture through the correct selection of technologies and architectural patterns for the management of patients in an Occupation Therapy Center. In order to achieve this goal, the methodology used in the Occupational Therapy Center was qualitative, being used the qualitative data analysis technique formulated by Fernandez, the interview instrument and bibliographic research as the core of the project, which facilitates the development of the rest of the specific objectives focused on the analysis and design of the proposed architecture. The outcomes obtained were a series of functional and non-functional requirements to which the artifacts generated by an adaption of the Iconix development methodology respond, such as diagrams of use cases, robustness, sequence, classes, packages, components and implementation. In conclusion, the intervention of the Iconix methodology and the UML standardization were fundamental to achieve the success of the project, which in spite of having an improvable process, served as a learning experience for the author.
