Резюме:Research on the proposal to develop a strategic plan for the hardware store, corresponding to the 2016-2020 period, which will allow the company to comply with a better organization, offering a better service in its different departments. In the present investigation, the General Objective "Propose a Strategic Plan for the Hardware Company" IN THE NAIL "of the Lago Agrio Canton, Province of Sucumbíos, for the period 2016 - 2020," which will provide valid knowledge for the company in improving its application of strategies. Within the materials and methods, different methods were determined, from which the scientific method, the descriptive method, the deductive method and the inductive method were used; within the techniques allowed to apply a survey to external customers with a sample of 196, 9 employees and an interview with the Manager, in these conditions said data collaborated to formulate strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, always relying on research field, in the design of the SWOT matrix. In the results the external analysis was carried out, in the matrix of the External Factors Evaluation Matrix, once the weighting was assigned for each of the external factors that influence the hardware in the NAIL, the weighted result of 2 was obtained, 54 A total weighted value greater than 2.5 indicates that the company responds well to opportunities and threats, while a weighted value less than 2.5 indicates that opportunities are not being seized and that threats can do much harm. The weighted total is 2.54, which indicates that the company is not taking advantage of some opportunities and that the threats can harm it if it does not potentiate the opportunities. According to the result obtained from the Matrix of Evaluation of internal factors of the hardware store, it determines as weighted result of 2.51; it means that in the hardware store there is a predominance of strengths over weaknesses; that is, there are 1.80 strengths and in weaknesses it is 0.71, with a difference of 1.09, therefore, it has no internal problems that could interfere in the growth of it and also that it has a normal development within the local market. In the Discussion through the High Impact Matrix, four strategic objectives were proposed, among which are, to propose a new business philosophy, to increase the client's portfolio in the company by offering new services, to train personnel and to improve the positioning of the hardware store. THE NAIL in the local market, these objectives with a determined value of $ 3,268.60 dollars for compliance. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations have been determined based on the market study and the proposal the recommendations that should be made regarding the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
