| Sumari: | The present curricular integration work had the objective of analyzing the impact of parental participation in the motor development of children of Pre-school II at “Rosa Josefina Burneo de Burneo” School. It was a scientific, inductive, qualitative, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study. As instruments, an observation sheet comprised of 5 items and an interview directed to the teacher comprised of 5 questions were applied which were in agreement to verify the results of the survey to the teacher by means of the observation sheet, with a sample of 20 children of Initial II and 3 teachers. The results found were reflected in an information triangulation table divided by two variables, parental role and motor development and this triangulation guaranteed the validity and reliability of the information obtained. According to the results, it is evident that within the variable of the parents' role, 2 observation items were applied, the first item applied showed a positive result, it was evident that the children always participate and coordinate movements in an active way during the activities designated by the teacher, the second item applied revealed that the children are almost always involved in the physical activities planned in the classroom; Within the second variable that was motor development, 3 observation items were applied; the first one showed that children almost always perform activities involving running, jumping, throwing, the second one indicated that they are usually interested in discovering new gross motor skills, in the third and final item it was demonstrated that most children are involved in motor development activities for arms, legs and trunk. From the results it was concluded that children whose parents are regularly involved in physical and motor activities have better coordination, balance and motor skills, demonstrating that the active participation of parents is fundamental for the optimal development of motor skills in children. Key words: motor development, parental involvement, strategies. |
