| Resumo: | This reaserch took place in the Unidad Educativa “12 de Febrero” in Zamora and it was based on a theoretical framework where a general and specific variables were used to analyze the influence of teenagers emotional intelligence in a rigid family relationship and 167 students of 2do bachillerato were part of this analysis. Three specific tests were used to measure and analyze the characteristics and types of emotional intelligence in young people, It was also used a descriptive and social-scientific approach to determine problems, causes and consequences of rigid family relatioships in teenagers, then after this step it was presented a psycological recovery plan to treat and emprove any problems related to rigid family relationships.
