| Итог: | The present research was made in Loja-Ecuador city; and it had as aim ‘’To assess the efficiency about three anesthesia protocols in female dogs subdued to ovariohysterectomy in the Cesar Augusto Guerrero Teaching Hospital from Universidad Nacional de Loja”. The same procedure was made in thirty experimental units, about 10 unit per each protocol; P1 (xylazine, atropine and ketamine), P2 (zoletil and propofol) and P3 (xylazine, ketamine and propofol). Once the corresponding presurgical assessment of the patient was made and it was taken the vital functions as heart rate (HR), respiratory rate (RF) and temperature (T°C), the same that were measured in the different periods: preanesthetic (F1), induction (F3), maintenance (F3) and postsurgical (F4); moreover, the presence and absence of the motor and sensory re- flexes during anesthesia were recorded; it was performed from the moment that the first dose of the drugs was applied for the handling surgical intervention through the medial technique of the ovariohysterectomy (OVH) until the recovery of the same. During the exploratory work, it was gotten that, when the results of the anesthesiologic and physiological variables to the clinical behavior of the female dogs are related, the P1, P2 and P3 are suitable for a short period (from 30 to 40 minutes) surgical intervention as the ovariohysterectomy, because it keeps normal physiological parameters during anesthesia. Key words: Zoletil; Propofol; Ketamine. |
