It must also regulate and implement social policies that guarantee and ensure the welfare of its athletes. Hence the need for this research, where it pretends to expose a reform proposal that collaborate to solve problems of social security of athletes. |

Hence the need for this research, where it pretends to expose a reform proposal that collaborate to solve problems of social security of athletes.La Seguridad Social del deportista en la actualidad, no brinda las garantías debidas al deportista el mismo que al saber y haber palpado una realidad tan denigrante que a muchos deportistas viven hoy en día, y es que es clara la atención oportuna y apoyo de los dirigentes deportivos, pero esencialmente por no existir una norma que sancione a quienes incumplan con esta Ley. Cabe recalcar que, la Ley del deporte debe velar por los deportistas que están en la imposibilidad permanente de obtener un ingreso, o que deben asumir responsabilidades financieras excepcionales, puedan seguir satisfaciendo sus necesidades, proporcionándoles, a tal efecto, recursos económicos o determinados servicios; mediante el pago del seguro de vida. Además debe normar y ejecutar políticas sociales que garanticen y aseguren el bienestar de sus deportistas.
