| Shrnutí: | The oral language is defined as the way in which human beings communicate with each other through the use of spoken terms, expressing ideas, thoughts, and emotions. It is an essential skill in children’s learning process during their early years since they gain experiences that will allow them to interact within society. The present research aimed to determine how buccopharyngeal exercises stimulate the development of oral language in 4 to 5-year-old children at Ciudad de Loja Basic Education School, during the 2023-2024 period. The investigation employed a quasi-experimental design since there was no random allocation of participants, with a mixed approach integrating quantitative and qualitative analysis in the results interpretation, and a descriptive scope. Additionally, the inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods were used in the creation of the theoretical framework, conclusions, and recommendations respectively; the observation technique was also fundamental when collecting relevant data. Furthermore, the PLON-R Test was applied to the 20 students as the initial and final evaluation instrument, whose results showed that 50% of the study sample was at a level of delay in the development of oral language. After the implementation of the activity guide denominated " Ejercitando mi boquita fortalezco mi lengüita" which was based on buccopharyngeal exercises, a significant change was observed in this level, as there was a decrease of 5%. It was concluded that the execution of these types of activities positively impacts the development of communicative skills, providing short and long-term benefits; this is inasmuch as through the stimulation of oral muscles, it improves articulation, pronunciation, and the necessary muscular control for proper breathing during speech, contributing to clarity and verbal fluency.
