| Tóm tắt: | The research entitled METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING LITERACY IN SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION IN THE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE, BLOCK 2 "THE WORLD OF TALES" SCHOOL JOSE INGENIEROS Nº 2 BARRIO PITAS, EL VALLE PARISH, CANTON AND PROVINCE OF LOJA, ACADEMIC PERIOD 2014-2015, had as general objective to apply methodological strategies to enhance the capacity of literacy, students in sixth grade of basic general education in the area Language and Literature, Block 2 "The World of Stories"; likewise specific objectives that allowed theoretically explain the variables under study, diagnose difficulties that students present when implementing literacy, allowing to establish a design, implementation and evaluation of a proposal of didactic intervention based on the use raised methodological difficulties diagnosed to improve strategies. The research was quasi- experimental, transversal and descriptive, for it scientific, analytical, synthetic, deductive, inductive methods, diagnostic workshop and evaluation techniques such as direct observation and surveys were applied was used to 31 students and teaching, which allowed them to obtain accurate and objective information. In conclusion it states that most students have difficulty in reading and have a bad spelling, because the teacher uses only daily traditional strategies such as brainstorming, graphic organizers, creating a traditional atmosphere and makes children lose interest in learning to read and write well |
