Tóm tắt:The present investigation includes a study entitled: THE APPLICATION OF THE MONTESSORI METHOD TO STRENGTHEN CREATIVITY IN CHILDREN OF INITIAL II PARALLEL "B" OF THE BASQUE EDUCATION SCHOOL ALONSO DE MERCADILLO OF THE CITY OF LOJA, PERIOD 2017- 2018. It was raised as general objective, strengthen creativity through the application of the Montessori method in children aged 4 - 5 years of the school investigated, the methods that served as support for the entire research process were: the scientific method, descriptive, analytical, inductive, deductive. In the same way the techniques that were used to know the problems of the institution was the direct observation with which it was possible to observe the lack of strengthening of creativity in the children, likewise the survey was used that was applied to the teachers for collect information about the knowledge and use of this method and the application of an observation guide for children, a tool with which their level of creativity was determined. The population was 86 children of initial II subdivided in three parallels with their respective educators for the research. A sample of 30 children corresponding to the parallel B was taken with a teacher-tutor and a teacher-assistant. In the results obtained from the application of a survey to the teachers of the school of basic education Alonso of Mercadillo, 33% do not know the Montessori method, aspect that with security makes it difficult to apply it and encourage creativity in their children. Only 33% of teachers believe that working with the Montessori method creates more autonomy in them. The majority of teachers (67%) express that the activities of practical life are very important in the Montessori method. Within the topic to be investigated, it was discovered that creativity is the children's way of expressing themselves, using all their originality and imagination, demonstrating in this way their way of thinking and acting within their school, family and society.
