Add Tag | Summary: | The purpose of this project is to conduct an analysis of the frequency and forms of breast self-examination performed in women of reproductive age presenting to the outpatient hospital Motupe – Loja. This study aims to determine the frequency and forms of breast self-examination women of reproductive age for which a character study method used descriptive and quantitative done, whereby the patients was assessed using data collection techniques as the survey, obtaining as results the age group of 30-34 years with a 34.2 % breast self-examination is carried out with greater emphasis, 13.99 % of users breast self-examination is held once a month after menstruation, 100 % of users emphasizes perform auto scan raising the left arm behind his head and his right hand and vice versa examines the left breast and circular slide the three middle fingers around the breast starting from the outside the nipple; 5.80% doing self-breast examination starting from the nipple out . With the data collected was concluded that there is no recurrence in patients on self-breast examination and despite putting into practice breast self-examination the procedure used is incorrect by the users of the University Hospital Motupe.
