| 總結: | The sectoral diagnosis is an exhaustive analysis that evaluates the current situation of a specific economic sector, including the study of market trends, competition, regulations, technology and socio-economic factors that affect the sector. The objective of this research is to carry out a sectoral diagnosis of hairdressing salons and services related to beauty care in the canton of Catamayo. The aim is to offer guidelines to help improve the performance and competitive position of the sector by improving operational efficiency, introducing innovations, increasing the quality of services and increasing profitability. The methodology adopted is a mixed approach, with a descriptive, exploratory and field scope, while the data collection technique focused on the application of a survey aimed at the heads of entities classified under ISIC activity S960200. Through this process, it was possible to discern the crucial elements for success, as well as to measure both financial and non-financial performance indicators. These elements constitute a sound tool for the evaluation and understanding of the sector, supported by the analysis of relevant statistics and sectoral averages. As results, it was determined that the companies present a liquidity of $ 4.90 and have a working capital of $ 411.82, demonstrating an efficient use of their assets and capital. They achieve a return of 1.72% on assets and 1.89% on equity, while maintaining a low level of indebtedness. Finally, the conclusions highlight that for organisations to perform positively, it is crucial for them to know their customers and to offer effective and efficient customer service. In addition, they must continuously modernise their services and develop strategies. |
