| Yhteenveto: | Was investigated DEVELOPMENT OF A VIDEO GAME AS DIDACTIC RESOURCE TO IMPROVE THE PROCESS OF EDUCATION LEARNING OF THE SUBJECT MATTER OF FACTORING POLYNOMIAL IN THE SUBJECT OF MATHEMATICS FOR THE NINTH DEGREE OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT "ADOLFO VALAREZO". The investigation was realized in the period understood between September, 2016 to February, 2017, in the facilities of the abovementioned institution, canton and Loja's province. This research arises from the need to provide both students and teachers in an efficient teaching support for addressing a topic with some degree of difficulty in a matter in which most students encounter many problems when achieving significant learning. Therefore, the implementation of an educational video game is considered as the same have become an attractive medium for students and that can easily be used in different contexts in the classroom. Development of video game use was made of the Game Maker Studio tool because it incorporates the functions of Drag and Drop and GML, the first by a drive system can start programming and give specific sentence to our game and after adequately meet these functions we realize we can do the same with GML, which is a programming language derived from C ++, thus constituting an intuitive game engine and very easy to learn. 5 The software development process used was the waterfall model, sometimes called classic life cycle, which suggests a systematic and sequential development of software approach, this methodology is known for being fast and accurate at all stages, as each requires the completion of the above to start a new one. It is concluded that the educational video game is an innovative didactic resource that allows the students to obtain a satisfactory degree of knowledge through recreational and repetition activities, this is demonstrated in the incidence that the same had in the teaching-learning process as the results of the The cognitive test shows that the majority obtained an average score of 8.6 / 10 which, according to the quantitative scale established by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, achieves the required learning. |
