Resumo:The present research entitled: THE DIDACTIC MATERIAL USED BY PHYSICS TEACHERS IN MOVEMENT AND FORCE AND ITS INFLUENCE IN THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AMONG STUDIENTS IN SECOND YEAR ON BACHILLERATO GENERAL UNIFICADO OF THE COLEGIO DE BACHILLERATO “BEATRIZ CUEVA DE AYORA” OF THE CITY OF LOJA, 2028 – 2019 ACADEMIC PERIOD. ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES., justifies its realization, since the analysis of the results will make it possible to reflect on the importance of the use of appropriate didactic material and its influence on the academic performance of the students, the The general objective of this research is to determine how the teaching material used by physics teachers influences the academic performance of students. The present investigation is of qualitative type and responds to a descriptive design since it details the collected data and the impact of the same in the population. The methods used were the scientific method, used to determine the problem, the theoretical sustenance, formulate objectives, collect information and draw conclusions; the inductive method for interpreting survey information; the deductive method to find out causes and effects; the statistical method to represent the information regarding the obtained data; and the hypothetico-deductive method, used in the elaboration of the hypothesis, which explains the influence of didactic material on academic performance. The techniques used in the present work were: the bibliography, and the survey; research aimed at 4 teachers and 549 secondyear students of BGU, from which a sample of 231 was extracted through a simple random process. Based on the results obtained, an alternative guideline was developed, which seeks to train physics teachers in the use and handling of laboratory material as a teaching resource. 5 After the investigation, the results of the analysis of the comparison of the marks obtained before the use of didactic material and after the implementation of the same, allow to affirm that when using didactic material the academic performance of the students is increased, therefore it is advisable use the teaching material more frequently during physics classes
