সংক্ষিপ্ত:The purpose of this research was to measure the perception of the quality of the attention and care service provided in the CDI Child Development Centers in Loja city during the year 2023. The methodology used consisted of applying an adaptation of the SERVPERF method to assess the perception of quality, based on the Technical Standard for Child Development Centers established by the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES). The measurement was based on the application of an attitudinal questionnaire of 28 statements to a total of 390 parents whose children regularly attend the CDI; each statement was evaluated using the LIKERT scale with a range from 1 to 5, and the study was divided into six dimensions: family participation, community and social networks, socio-educational process, preventive health, food and nutrition, human talent and infrastructure, educational and protective environment, where parents also rated each statement and indicated which dimension was most relevant to them. The questionnaire was validated by means of Cronbach's Alpha. The main findings indicate that, in general terms, the users' assessment of the quality of the child care service has an average value of 4.63 out of 5, which translates into a qualitative assessment of satisfactory; finally, a 95% confidence interval was used to estimate the population's perception, which also resulted in a potentially satisfactory assessment.
