| Riassunto: | The thesis work Analysis of the impactful political speech, rallies and media training, of the candidates for mayors, councilors and presidents of parish councils in the south of the province of Loja in the 2023 sectional elections, has as it main objective to analyze the electoral campaigns of the candidates from the cantons Puyango, Pindal, Zapotillo and Macará, to know first-hand how the communication and instruments were handled, such as oratory strategies and tactics, media training, linguistics and image that they projected in the campaign to capture their vote. For this, a mixed research methodology was used that included the observation of audiovisual content from Facebook pages, interviews in communication media and personal interviews with the candidates who came in first and second place to contrast that management, surveys were also carried out to the electorate of the four cantons separately, which allowed to know the communicative strengths and deficiencies of each campaign, as well as the collective interest in politics. The results show that the lack of a communication culture in the political electoral field has allowed political communication platforms such as rallies, debates, interviews and speeches to lose their essence of being scenarios for citizen participation, inclusion, dissemination of ideas and projects for community development and progress, to become events of entertainment, fun, food, conflict and populism. In conclusion, political communication experts suggest that the candidates in this area should be leaders to follow due to their training, preparation and demonstrable knowledge, rather than a merely emotional character. The 82% of the electorate consulted tell us that they would follow a candidate who allows them to participate and be part of their political communication platforms with their opinion (political rally, speeches, interviews, etc.) A 52% of the electorate believes that, when addressing them at a political rally, their local candidates need to know how to communicate “to impact them”. Keywords: Political training, Speech, Debate, Political Rally. |
