Summary:This research is based on, applying a guide of didactic resources designed through the application of TICs, which contributes to the improvement of the learning of Biology so that the students of first of the Unified General Baccalaureate achieve significant learning. The research is non-experimental with a cross-sectional dimension because data were obtained at a given time through surveys. Then, it is analyzed the interrelation between the use of didactic resources mediated by TICs and the results of the teaching -learning process. The results of the implementation of educational resources mediated by TICs were satisfactory, because of the material used in the classes, captured the interest and attention of the students, making them feel motivated by the learning of Biology. According to the surveys that were applied and the comparison of grades record before and after the intervention, it allowed to corroborate these results. TICs when appropriately used in the educational field allow having better results in the teaching-learning of Biology since it helps students improve their concentration and it facilitate the understanding and comprehension of each topic. Furthermore, it awakens their imagination and leaves meaningful learnings in them. TICs in education, without a doubt, represents an attractive and interesting way to learn the subjects taught in classrooms.
