الملخص:The main objective of this work is to expose the influence of the pictographic tale on the learning of phonemes in third-year GBE students from the José Ingenieros N°1 school in the city of Loja, this research presents a mixed approach since data were processed with their respective analysis and interpretation, it is also descriptive – not experimental, since it is possible to detail the characteristics of the population under study before, during and after the proposed training without the need to apply an experimental process; on the other hand, the scientific, analytical, descriptive and statistical methods were used to collect data and information on the facts that are studied in a clear, reliable and accurate way, in addition to starting from particular and general postulates. Likewise, mention is made of the application of an initial or diagnostic evaluation to the students in order to assess their level of phonetic comprehensibility linked to the pictographic story. In addition, this test allows the design of the proposal for action for the training, given that the issues that require greater complexity and understanding for the children were addressed. Within the intervention plan, PLAYFONE is highlighted as the innovative instrument that breaks the monotony in the classroom, since it is a board game that allows the acquired knowledge to be applied. Finally, the training was assessed through a final evaluation, which yields positive results, in addition to generating confidence and interest in learning in the students. Key words: pictographic story, phoneme, evaluation, playfone.
