| Sumario: | The present investigation called Playful activities to improve the functional dyslalia in a five-year-old child, from Loja city, Daniel Álvarez neighborhood, in the academic period 2021 - 2022. The case study, had as general objective: To determine how playful activities improve functional dyslalia in a five-year-old child. The research is of a mixed type with a quasi-experimental design. The methods used were: analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive. The instrument that was used was the Phonetic Evaluation Test – Phonology (adapted), to know the affected phonemes, in the initial diagnosis it was evidenced that the child presented functional dyslalia, showing errors of omission in 74% and substitution 13% in phonemes with inverse syllables, followed by the omission error 91% and substitution 9% in compound syllables, as well as the omission error 71%, and substitution 7% in syllables with diphthongs. After the application of the alternative proposal called "Together we learn better", there is evidence of a reduction in errors in omission of 56% of phonemes in inverse syllables, in the same way 65% of omission in compound syllables and finally 36% in errors of omission in diphthongs, the substitution error of inverse, compound and diphthong syllables improved in totality. Concluding that recreational activities are a useful tool to improve functional dyslalia, in omission and substitution errors, obtaining a more fluid communication, better articulation and pronunciation of words, for which the application of activities in the family and school context is recommended. Keywords: Playful activities, articulation, functional dyslalia, phonemes, pronunciation. |
