| Sammanfattning: | The present research is a study on the book "Physics 1 BGU" implemented by the Ministry of Education (ME) and its incidence in the learning of the thematic unit of movement in the students of the first year of Unified General High School (BGU) of the school "Beatriz Cueva de Ayora" of the city of Loja, period 2016 - 2017. For this purpose, the general objective was to determine the impact of the textbook "Physics 1 BGU" in the learning of the thematic unit of movement. In the methodology it is detailed that the research is a non-experimental design of descriptive, explanatory propositive, developed with the methods: scientific, hypothetical deductive, inductive and deductive; As a study population, the teachers and students of the first year of BGU of the mentioned institution were considered, from which a representative sample of 117 units of analysis, 114 students and 3 teachers were obtained, in the process of collecting empirical information Used the structured survey, which resulted as the main result that the textbook is not used with the frequency necessary to achieve meaningful learning in the students according to the curricular proposal of the ME, which concludes that the incidence of textbook " Physics 1 BGU "in the learning of the thematic unit of movement is limited and quantitatively evaluated with an average grade of 7.5 / 10, which in the qualitative scale means that students achieve the required learning, however it is recommended to Teachers look for methodological strategies that allow to use the book more effectively to improve learning |
