| description | This research related to the Web Pharmacy Management System is based on creating a standard technology for health care providers and services. It was designed specifically for allowing the pharmacy to better enhance its effectiveness and allows users to meet the daily objectives of customer care and pharmaceutical efficiency in a basic hospital and nursing health care environment. The development, methodology and implementation of this system were applied to Windows XP and have been designed specifically for use in the basic hospital or mobile health care setting. It allows for an interactive program that gives instruction and feedback to users as well as direction on proper and appropriate usage. RUBY programming language was used in the development of this software system. Additionally, framework on the RAILS was utilized which allows and gives freedom to develop and expand this particular form of information technology. This system is easily integrated into Javascript, CSS, JQUERY, Sublimetext, Sourcetree, Github, Digital Ocean, Bootstrap and HTML which are the foundational bases of current pharmacy technologies in Ecuador. Bootstrap is a technology framework which allows for the adaptation and utilization of mobile devices so that user functionability can be achieved in any health care setting. In order to accommodate this research, the current pharmacy management system in use was studied in order to determine a solution that best meets the needs of consumers and pharmacy users. A daily report on its functionability ensures that the system continuously maintains integrity, allows for corrections and additions when needed, and gives superior customer service throughout its use. |

Loja”, tiene como finalidad que el hospital y en este caso el departamento de farmacia cuente con un sistema que cumpla las necesidades específicas de las labores que se realizan en el día a día, brindando a los usuarios rapidez y mejor servicio a la sociedad. La metodología de desarrollo aplicada a este software es la XP, la cual empieza con sesiones diarias durante semanas con el cliente, en las que se da campo abierto y claridad a los requerimientos puntuales y necesarios para el desarrollo del proyecto, esto mediante un programa ya en uso que no cumple las necesidades específicas. Para el desarrollo del sistema se utilizó el lenguaje de programación Ruby, con la ayuda del framework Ruby on Rails el cual es código libre y brinda libertad al desarrollar sitios web, permitiendo hacer uso de herramientas como: Javascript, Css, JQuery, Sublinetext, Sourcetree, Github, Digital ocean, HTML, los mismos que fueron base fundamental para el fronter del sistema de farmacia. Bootstrap un framework que ayudó a que el sistema se adapte a dispositivos móviles y así realizar y lograr el objetivo planteado, además se efectuaron las pruebas de funcionalidad, seguridad, aceptación y pruebas de carga y estrés. El sistema de gestión de farmacia se desarrolló tomando en cuenta la información que ya brindaba el sistema antes usado, permitiendo recolectar procesos y así poder implementar la nueva forma de trabajo de una forma rápida y eficiente. Cabe indicar que se realizó reportes diarios y mensuales los cuales son de gran ayuda a este departamento de farmacia en el caso de auditorías o de cualquier inspección por parte de los superiores de esta institución.
