Sumario:The present titled investigation work: the didactic strategies that use the educational ones for the development of the critical thought of the students in the Unit Educational Revenue misional at Distance of Loja "Hno. Ángel Pastrana Corral", main extension, of the city of Loja, eighth years of basic education, period 2009/2010. he/she Had as purpose to determine the use and handling of didactic strategies guided to develop the critical thought of the students of the eighth years of the main extension of the city of Loja, for it, the technique was applied of the survey to educational and students, the methods were also used: descriptive, analytic, inductive and deductive that allowed to build the investigation project, to elaborate the report of the thesis and to propose the alternative limits that allow to improve the teaching-learning process in the unit educational study object. The main results of the investigation are synthesized in the following way; • Relative use of didactic strategies and I manage of graphic organizers. • Ignorance on Development of the Critical Thought and their educational implications. • It lacks of political institutional on the handling of strategies didactic innovators that you/they develop the thought. • Limitations in the handling of the method of projects, on the part of the educational of the Institution. • The educational ones, are relatively outdated.
