סיכום: | The present work is a descriptive study, it allows to know the habits and dietary practices that inhabitants of the parish Jimbilla city of Loja. The methodology used for data analysis was the survey of 257 people aged 15 years to 64 years in different areas of the parish. The results show that 57.97% of the populations consume carbohydrates, 77.04 % and 67.32 % less than 2 servings of vegetables and fruits in the day respectively; 77.04% consume the 2 to 3 week sausages. The most consumed foods are eggs, milk and cheese. The number of meals taken over day is from 4 to 5. In practice preparation 66.93 % prefer the cooked and raw food, the mother of the family is responsible for the purchase and preparation of food. I can conclude that the people have an unhealthy habit because even though there is not the availability of vegetables consumed. KEYWORDS: Eating habits, food habits, food |
