Resumo:The present study was overall objective: To implement a proposal based psycho- educational intervention in mediation techniques for preventing school violence. It is a descriptive study of cross-sectional and quasi-experimental design in a sample of 27 children. The methods used were: scientific, descriptive, deductive-inductive, analytic-synthetic, historical and logical, understanding, modeling and statistical method. A survey and a questionnaire assessment of school violence in nursery and primary (CEVEIP) were applied. Results, diagnosis 51.9% of children manifested the insult and threat is prevalent among peers. In the pretest 44.4% have witnessed school violence often and 48% live such violence. After the intervention violence decreased to 14.8% (posttest). The r (x, y) is equal to 0.98. It is concluded that the highest percentage of the investigated experience violence after the intervention decreased dramatically, improving the resolution of conflicts. The proposed psycho-educational intervention is valid, reaches a very high positive correlation.
