| Yhteenveto: | The present work has as fundamental objective the design and implementation of a process control bank for the Industrial Automation Laboratory of the Nacional University of Loja. In the first place, the design of the process bank was done, taking as reference common characteristics that have didactic banks existing in the market. These include the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC), frequency inverters, human machine interfaces (HMI) and supervisory and control software (SCADA). Then, a control system was designed and implemented for a box sorter and for the level control in two tanks. For the development of these two systems, the S7-1200 programmable logic controller was selected as the main control element for the HMI KTP 400 Basic mono PN human machine interface, and for the monitoring and control system the Siemens SCADA WinCC. Next, the PLC, HMI and SCADA were programmed for each process in the TIA Portal software according to the proposed specifications. Finally, 14 laboratory practices were carried out following the model that the University has, which show in detail all the programming of the controlled processes. |
