| Résumé: | The present study, titled “Proposal of a Prevention Plan for Occupational Risks at ‘La Fragua’ Bakery in the City of Cariamanga, Province of Loja,” aims to identify, analyze, and propose alternative solutions or strategies to reduce various risks encountered. The methodology employed is descriptive, non-experimental, and exploratory, adhering to current regulations established by the Ministry of Labor. We assessed the bakery’s current risk prevention and occupational health situation through a survey of five workers, an interview with the manager, and direct observation using the Ministry of Labor’s 1-to-10 worker checklist. Our findings indicate that workers face physical risks related to high temperatures, fire, and cuts, as well as electrical risks such as machine friction and electrocution. Additionally, there are risks of falls from the same or different levels due to poorly maintained transit surfaces, including aisles and slippery floors. Based on this analysis, we propose a prevention plan that addresses responsibilities, rights, duties, personal protective equipment (PPE), and a budget for implementation. These measures contribute to the sustainability of the “La Fragua” bakery. |
