Shrnutí:Laboratories are spaces where theoretical knowledge can be put into practice; therefore, this research aims at analyzing the elements that a Physics laboratory must contain in order to constitute on a learning environment, that allows the consolidation of theoretical knowledge of Motion and Force in high school. In this regard, a qualitative documentary research using a descriptive scope was proposed, supported by deductive, bibliographic and analytical-synthetic methods. The findings show that laboratories are important because they enhance the understanding of theoretical phenomena and facilitate teaching, encourage motivation and academic performance. Furthermore, it was identified the laboratory materials essential for teaching Motion and Force, as well as 4 dimensions of knowledge, essential to make an effective use of the laboratory. Consequently, Physics laboratories can stablish on learning environments as long as specific materials and knowledge are available. Keywords: Physics laboratory, Motion and Force, teaching and learning, theory and practice.
