| Summary: | The present graduation thesis (TT), entitled "Design of the Architecture of the teacher performance evaluation process for the Loja Institute of Technology,” has been developed to create an analysis of an architecture that serves to automate the teacher evaluation process within the Loja Institute, which complies with the specifications of the Council for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CACES) and the internal regulations that govern the department responsible for the teacher evaluation process. Following the objectives of this TT and with the purpose of achieving them, an analysis was carried out on how the institution currently develops the evaluation process. A BPMN process diagram was designed, and a new design was proposed to automate the process. Based on this business process model, architectural requirements were defined, where functional and non-functional requirements were identified jointly with the stakeholders, who are the institution’s officials. Additionally, the domain diagram was constructed to understand and visualize the scope and complexity of the problem to be addressed. The architecture was proposed by analyzing the inputs previously worked on, defining two inputs: the logical architecture expressed in use case diagrams and the physical architecture depicted in deployment and component diagrams. Finally, the architecture was validated using the ATAM methodology, which validated the initially proposed architecture. As the main conclusion, the fulfillment and achievement of the general objective are highlighted, which was achieved by fulfilling each of the specific objectives set, obtaining as the main result the architecture for the teacher evaluation system that allows for the agile, orderly, and timely management of evaluation results. Keywords: BPMN, domain diagram, ATAM methodology, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, architectural requirements. |
