Riassunto:The present research work had as general objective: To implement the neuropsychological intervention to stimulate the cognitive functions of attention, memory and perception in the elderly of the Camvil day center , the study had a quantitative approach, of a descriptive type, quasi-experimental, cross-sectional design; the instruments applied to a sample of 11 older adults aged between 70 and 86 years, 6 correspond to the experimental group and 5 to the control group were; the brief Neurospi test and the Mini mental test. The results obtained from both groups of the application of the brief neuropsychic test are mostly normal levels of attention, memory and perception, followed by moderate and severe; In addition, the results show that the cognitive state of the older adults of both groups is normal and mild; Regarding the execution of the neuropsychological intervention program, 100% of the participants of the experimental group carried out the cognitive stimulation activities reaching the level of achievement, aspects that were evidenced by the Mann Whitney U test in which it is determined that there is a significance in the effectiveness of the neuropsychological intervention since in the brief neuropsy test it has an asymptotic significance of 0,009 in the same way the mini mental test the asymptotic significance is 0,034 the two values are lower than the average level of 0,05 for which accepts the same general hypothesis that older adults with normal and mild cognitive status who participate in neuropsychological intervention to stimulate the cognitive functions of attention, memory, and perception present a better performance of these functions than older adults in the control group. In this way, it is concluded that in older adults the neuropsychological intervention program has significant efficacy for the stimulation of cognitive functions.
