| Sumari: | The present study reflects the effects of the application of educational digital tools in the learning process of Elementary Basic Education students, in the area of Natural Sciences of the Santa Mariana de Jesús Private Educational Unit. For which, a study with a mixed approach and a descriptive scope was carried out, with the purpose of characterizing the aspects of the variables involved. Thus, this research was supported by the survey technique, which was applied to teachers and students; and by the documentary analysis, which corroborated that the variation in the quantitative and qualitative ratings of the learning activities before and after the innovative experience was positive. It should be emphasized that the SPSS program was used for the analysis of the results, which made it possible to conclude that the pedagogical application of educational digital tools contributed to improve learning in this area, to the development of digital competences, in a dynamic, participatory environment mediated by technological tools, which is essential to face the challenges of the digital era.
