The main objective is stated: "To contribute to the rescue of Creole peanut seeds (Arachis hypogaea L) western flank Casanga Valley, to build better production conditions." And specific: Collecting groundnut germplasm materials Creole and associated knowledge in production and use of the western flank Casanga Valley; characterize morphologically Creole peanut ecotypes collected and disseminate the results to smallholders maniseros western flank Casanga valley in the province of Loja. We performed the collection of Creole in the canton peanut avocado, Chaguarpamba Olmedo and Paltas, at altitudes of 690 m.s.n.m to 1 724 m.s.n.m, where they found 25 samples that were then planted. The trial was conducted in the neighborhood Rumipamba, located in Canton Chaguarpamba, Loja Province, has a mountainous physiography Andean type, subtropical climate, with an average temperature of 21-24 ºC, with an annual average cloudiness 70-80 %, in the rainy months and between 10-20 % in the dry months, the wind direction is from east to west, with a speed of 40 km per hour. Sowing was done in the months of August to December, in the dry season, with irrigation water. 25 treatments was used, with 4 replications, 100 units experimental plot of the distance between 0, 50 m between blocks 1 m, the area per unit experimental 4 , the area of a block is 60 * 2 (120 ).The distance between rows and between ground is 0, 40 m, the number of plants per plot were 36, per block 900, total 3 600 plants and entire test area of 660 . We conducted soil preparation, layout and placed the appropriate sign according to each treatment, and then pay with compost 7.71 kg per plot and planting was done. During assay development were measured according to variables characterizing peanut manual, published by the IBPGR; also performed cultural work and phytosanitary controls With regard to pests and diseases, the damage caused by these were found within economic thresholds. Characterization results were tabulated, statistically analyzed and presented in tables and figures showing the 5% significance between treatment. The best treatments for intersections are: T 6.OOL m.blanco 1 866,319 kg / ha, T 8.CHCHEG m. black 1 916.665 kg / ha, because they are the highest in performance and in the variable of days to flower at 36 days are the most precocious.

Como objetivo general se planteó: “Coadyuvar al rescate de las semillas de maní criollos (Arachis hipogaea L) del flanco occidental y del valle de Casanga, que posibiliten mejorar las condiciones productivas.” y como específicos: Coleccionar material germoplasma de maní criollo y el conocimiento asociado en lo productivo y uso del flanco occidental y valle de Casanga ; caracterizar morfológicamente los ecotipos de maní criollos colectados y difundir los resultados a los pequeños productores maniceros del flanco occidental y valle de Casanga de la provincia de Loja. El ensayo se lo realizó en el barrio Rumipamba, ubicado en el Cantón Chaguarpamba, Provincia de Loja, cuenta con una fisiografía de tipo montañoso andino, de clima subtropical, con una temperatura promedio anual de 21-24 ºC, con una nubosidad media anual de 70-80%, en los meses lluviosos y entre 10-20 % en los meses secos; la dirección del viento es de oriente a occidente, con una velocidad de 40 km por hora. La siembra se realizó en los meses de agosto a diciembre, en temporada seca, contando con el agua de riego . Se utilizó 25 tratamientos, con 4 réplicas totalizadas, 100 unidades experimentales. La distancia entre parcela de 0, 50 m y entre bloques 1,0 m; el área por unidad experimental de 4,0 , el área de un bloque es de 60,0* 2,0 (120.0 ) el área total del ensayo fue de 660,0 . La densidad de siembra fue 0, 40 m * 0,40 m; el número de matas por parcela fueron 36, por bloque 900 , totales 3 600 plantas . Se realizó la preparación del suelo, el trazado y se ubicó el respectivo letrero de acuerdo a cada tratamiento, para luego abonar con compost 7,71 kg por parcela y se realizó la siembra. Durante el desarrollo del ensayo se realizaron mediciones de las variables de acuerdo al manual de caracterización de maní, editado por el IBPGR; también se realizaron labores culturales y controles fitosanitarios En cuanto al ataque de plagas y enfermedades, los daños causados por estos se encontraron dentro de los umbrales económicos. Los resultados de la caracterización fueron tabulados, analizados estadísticamente y presentados en figuras y cuadros que demuestran la significancia al 5% entre tratamiento.
