Determinar si la internet como medio de comunicación constituye una herramienta de construcción de conocimientos en los estudiantes del tercer año de bachillerato del colegio Bernardo Valdivieso de la ciudad de Loja

In this research the knowledge of the proper use of the Internet is determined by the students of the third year of high school at the school "Bernardo Valdivieso" in the city of Loja and get in privatization if there is free access to the internet in this educational institution, in order to highlight the importance of the Internet as a means of communication and information in the development of social skills, academics, in educational institutions. Besides the effects of mishandling the Internet as a communication and information in young adolescents and formulate alternatives through a conference on the management of virtual tools offered by the Internet, in order to generate knowledge of shows same, encouraging the proper use and utilization of the advantages of the Internet as a means of communication and information. This research was conducted in the period September 2013 to July 2014, gathering concerns, direct and critical information about using the Internet at school "Bernardo Valdivieso." Quantitative and qualitative methods applied, collecting secondary data and primary data through surveys and interviews, which allowed them to analyze whether the Internet promotes the development of knowledge of students; Information gathered 100 students and two respondents interviewed after sufficient information on the subject of study and have the opinion of the professors of the institution intends to hold a conference with the duration of one day, revealing the most important virtual tools that owns the internet as WordPress Blogs, Prezi, Gmail and its many options, SoundCloud, Radios Online, Zotero, it will be of great help because they provide students with knowledge of the third year of Bachelor of these tools and functions of each one and then the corresponding appreciation ask school authorities for permission to hold the conference, with an educational purpose, aimed at this important population.
