Izvleček:This work concerns the Teaching Learning Process of Popular Dance Ecuadorian and impact on the recognition of Ethnic Cultural Diversity in the areas: local, regional and national students in sixth and seventh year of Basic Education school tax "Bayancela Benigno" neighborhood of San Cayetano Under Loja 2013; in this regard. The techniques used were: survey of teachers; survey of students, and observation guide institutional infrastructure; with the application of scientific, deductive methods and synthetic analytical method, methods that allowed the analysis of information regarding the results obtained from observation or theory of inquiry, helped operationalize the concepts to observable facts directly or indirectly. The investigation meet the overall objective, because it could determine whether the Teaching Learning Process of Popular Dance Ecuadorian affects the recognition of cultural diversity in the ethnic areas, regional, and national in students; and specific goals like: Check application of teaching-learning process in the Ecuadorian popular dance skill Formative curricular, Art and Expressive Movement subject of Physical Culture; as well as determine the importance of the teaching-learning process in the Ecuadorian popular dance in the development of physical, motor, cognitive and affective partner for the recognition of the ethnic diversity capabilities - culturally local, regional and national in students; and identify the resources and means to limit the teaching-learning process in the Ecuadorian popular dance students in sixth and seventh grades of General of Basic Education "Bayancela Benigno" Fiscal School. Among the most important results is that the process of learning that teachers apply if you are helping the school to have a broader understanding of ethnic and cultural diversity; similarly, the planned skills does not help the acquisition of knowledge about ethnic and cultural diversity, through the practice of the Ecuadorian folk dance; well as the infrastructure is not adequate to practice dance for students this is not a barrier to learning.
