要約: | This study has as an objective to determine antimicrobial resistance in urinary tract infection of pregnant women of Gynaecological and Obstrectics service at Isidro Ayora Hospital in January – July 2015. Determine in this study, which bacteria is the most frequently in pregnant women’s urine culture. Establish the antimicrobial sensitivity and resistance. Identify the most affected gestational age in pregnant women. This is a descriptive, retrospective, transversal study. The sample of this study was 95 pregnant patients that had urinary tract infection and urine culture was made and also had inclusion criteria. The results was that the most frequently bacteria was Eschericha Coli (91.58%); the most affected gestational age was the third trimester (60%); Significantly high degree of sensitivity rates to nitrofurantoin (89.47%), Cefalexine (87.37%), Ampicilline/Sulbactam (80%) were recorded; High resistance rates to Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (88.49%), Amoxicilline (87,37%), fosfomicyn (84.21%) were documented. Key Words: Antimicrobial Sensitivity and Resistance, pregnancy, urinary tract infection. |
