| Crynodeb: | This work has been performed for the purpose of providing a tool to support students of the School of Environmental Geology and Spatial Planning of the Universidad Nacional de Loja so they can determine the feasibility of a project through a geological assessment environmental impact. As you know the limitations that we have today in the streamlining of processes in activities such as environmental impact assessment prevents students who use these methods to obtain results quickly and the lack of a custom software that simulates the behavior of a human expert in this area, so that was proposed as a solution to develop an application that meets the necessary requirements, addresses the weaknesses found and complies with the established legal framework for environmental impact assessment. We used the methodology of environmental impact assessment called Leopold, to determine whether a project is feasible or not to perform. It has obtained the information from human experts about how to make the whole procedure of this methodology. It has taken into account the activities and environmental impact factors and the magnitude and importance of each. A comparison between the traditional and how to perform automated evaluation. The inference was made to determine each of the values that allow the expert system to give feedback on the feasibility of a project of this type. A knowledge base that it has all the information provided by the human expert. The inference engine in a timely manner to determine the feasibility and environmental impact level will have a geological project. The general rules under the inference can determine each of the parameters that will solve the problem. With the above, the system of environmental impact assessment aims to become a teaching tool, easy to understand for students of this career. Finally with the completion of the development of this thesis presents conclusions and recommendations as well as future research directions for the development of applications based on expert systems |
