Tóm tắt:The present study entitled "work stress on attending physicians of the Hospital Manuel Ygnacio Monteros of the city of Loja and its impact on the emotional state. Period December 2014 - June 2015" investigates and describes aspects involved in work stress: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment, as well as assesses the current mood of the attending physicians who work in that Hospital. Reasons why I have set myself to determine in first instance occupational stress of doctors, through the implementation of the Maslach Burnout Inventory; also evaluate their current state of mind, through Rating Scale State Mood (RSSM); and in this way to relate the impact between the two variables and finally design a proposal for psychological intervention that decrease the stressing symptoms. In the population investigated (16 women and 10 men), it was found that as regards of work stress, most of the doctors consider emotional exhaustion as the main feature, followed by personal fulfillment, not finding depersonalization data. Whilst in assessing the emotional state at the moment of application of tests, the 50% of the attending physicians they perceived the anxiety as main emotion, followed by 38% with happiness and the 12% with anger-hostility, not finding Sadness-Depress data. Indicating that work stress is closely related to the emotional state of the treating physicians of the Emergency Services and Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Manuel Ygnacio Monteros City Loja Keywords: Stress, Emotional State, Emotional Exhaustion, Anxiety.
