Prevalencia de hipertensión arterial y su relación con los factores socio - culturales de los pacientes que son atendidos en el Area de consulta externa del Hospital Universitario de Motupe, durante el periodo marzo 2008 - marzo 2009

The arterial hypertension constitutes one of the big challenges of the modern medicine; it is an illness that affects to all the societies eminently being extraordinarily prevalent. It is in and of itself that when manifesting these records he/she is carried out the study of the topic: “PREVALENCIA OF THE ARTERIAL HIPERTENCION AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FACTORS PARTNER - CULTURAL OF THE PATIENTS THAT ARE ASSISTED IN THE AREA OF IT CONSULTS EXTERNAL OF THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL DE MOTUPE IN THE UNDERSTOOD PERIOD OF MARCH 2008-MARZO2009,” having as main objective to determine the prevalence of this pathology and the specific objectives: to Investigate the arterial pressure levels according to the gender and the age of the patient hypertensions, to know the factors of risk but you frequent that bear to the appearance of the Arterial Hypertension and to execute an intervention plan in which we foment the education and the car taken care in the patient hypertensions that are assisted at this home of health. One carries out a study of descriptive type, having like sample 40 patient hypertensions independently of the sex, age and race, obtaining a significant sample as a result of it prevailed her of Hypertension in both sexes, determining that the factors but outstanding that contribute to the appearance of the HTA they are. The age, the consumption of alcohol and cigarette, the stress, the excessive ingest of salt, all these factors added to the family records contribute to the appearance of this pathology.
