Резюме:The tranquility of the environment along with outstanding scenic scenarios mimicked with crops that show the human presence, make the trail "La Cascarilla" in a new product of nature and culture, designed to diversify the tourism offer of Loja; however, one of the main drawbacks is the lack of maintenance of the trail due to weather conditions that exist in the place and have greatly affected the infrastructure of tourist attractions, causing the trail to be little visited. For this reason, the present research project revolves around the theme Strengthening the tourist route on the "La Cascarilla" trail in the canton and province of Loja and its main objective is to create a proposal to strengthen the tourist route on the "La Cascarilla" trail, which is complemented by three specific objectives, the first aimed at diagnosing the current situation of the tourist route, the second to design the proposal to strengthen the tourist route and the third to develop promotional strategies for the implemented proposal. For the development of which research techniques were used, such as direct observation focused on the diagnostic methodology of the author Carla Ricaurte, using the first form of tourist characterization of communities that verified the location data, supply of tourist services and infrastructure of basic services, also used the inventory of tourist attractions applying the methodology of MINTUR, hierarchy matrix of tourist attractions, survey to assess the situation of the route, SWOT and SWOT analysis and cross SWOT. This resulted in three strategic objectives to be carried out; in the first, new tourist activities were implemented to strengthen the route, for the second, the tourist product of the trail was strengthened by developing a new tourist map, and in the fourth, triptychs, brochures, posters were designed, and a promotional page of the route was created on Facebook and Instagram. However, for the development of this proposal it is recommended the integrated work of public and private institutions such as the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Loja and the Parish of Malacatos, who, as local regulatory bodies, leave satisfactory results in the communities and work on training on issues of tourist service and related issues, to those involved and internal and external promotion.
