PERIOD 2013-2014 “, the same that was developed in accordance with the rules of academic board of the Loja National University. The general objective was formulated: To determine the incidence of parental overprotection in the behavior of School First Grade Joint Fiscal " Dr. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel " No. 1 and 2 Children Preparatory of the Loja City, Period 2013-2014. Scientific, Inductive-Deductive, Analytic-Synthetic, Descriptive and Statistical Model: methods were used. The techniques and instruments used were: Survey applied to parents of children in First Grade Preparatory School Joint Fiscal "Dr. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel "No. 1 and 2 school in the Loja city, to establish Parental Overprotection.; and Observation Form applied to children of School First Grade School "Dr. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel "No. 1 and 2 in the city of Loja, to evaluate its behavior. Analyzed the results of the survey of parents reveals that: 60% of parents surveyed do not overprotect their sons / daughters and 40 % yes, 100% of parents with their child hits / activities as dressing your child when going to school, gives food to her child in the mouth, makes homework instead of his son, always watch your child when you are playing, sleeping with your son / daughter. In support of applied research work involved an Observation Form and the following results were obtained: 60% of children have not Aggressive behavior, 36% aggressive behavior; and 4 % had a Very Aggressive Behavior; 58% of boys and girls have investigated Passive Behavior No, 26% a Passive Behavior; and 16 % one Very Passive Behavior; 39% of children have an Assertive behavior, 35% a Little Assertive Behavior; and 26 % to Very Assertive Behavior.
