The overall objective was: To present to teachers and parents the importance of cognitive development Game of High School children, first grade of elementary school. The methods used were: Scientist, Inductive, Deductive, Descriptive and Statistical Model, which allowed for the discussion and comparison of the proposed variables. The instruments used were: Survey teachers of children in School, First Grade General Education Basic Education Unit "Antonio Neumane" to identify the types of games that use the teachers in the daily work and Cognitive Abilities Test for children to evaluate Cognitive Development From the information obtained through the application of the survey of teachers and based on the same question 2 referring to: What type of game do you use in your daily work you do with children?, it is concluded that: 100% of teachers surveyed perform daily work with children the following game types symbolic Games, free, traditional construction and 50 % of rules. The results of the Test of Cognitive Skills concludes that 82% of children have investigated cognitive development and 18 % Very Satisfactory Unsatisfactory Cognitive development focuses on the thought processes and behavior that reflects these processes.
