| Sumario: | The Inorganic chemistry is the science that studies (qualitative and quantitative) the composition, structure and properties of matter; in addition chemical changes in the internal structure of itself. The science and technology have demonstrated the bodies complexity and within them the role of the atom and molecules as the basic structure of matter. It is necessary encourage students strengthen their knowledge through a scientific and research behavior in order to understand and transform the reality. Students’ level can increase using different teaching- learning techniques, teaching strategies, educational resources such as multimedia "Prezi”. It helps students to develop some skills like creativity, analysis, interpretation and interaction of knowledge through design and to prepare slides in one window. According to the before aspects the following objective was established: to apply the Prezi multimedia as a methodological strategy to strengthen the learning of atom and molecules in students of 10th year of basic education "D" at the university National Loja Academic 2013-2014. in the methodological process, there were considered analytical, descriptive, inductive, deductive and linear correlation of Pearson methods, furthermore a survey technique was used and a gathering questionnaire tool for information . In the analysis, discussion and interpretation of the data it was concluded that students do not have a clear conception about the definition, structure, classification and properties of atoms and molecules. Teachers do not use Prezi multimedia as methodological strategy, which has several advantages in learning, such as increased communication being the student-student and student-teacher between, strengthening knowledge, earn higher reference sources, and use constant motivation different learning techniques |
