Función familiar y consumo de alcohol y tabaco en los estudiantes del bachillerato del Colegio Adolfo Valarezo de la ciudad.

Consumption and drug abuse is a major public health problem for all countries, producing harmful effects of morbidity and mortality as well as negative effects on consumers, their family and society. (Maria Barros, 2013). Issues concerning public health, associated with alcohol, have assumed alarming proportions, to the extent that it has become one of the most important in the world health and social risks. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers smoking as one of the major health problems worldwide, especially in children and adolescents, which is why the study was done: "FAMILY FUNCTION AND ALCOHOL AND SNUFF IN STUDENTS FOR THE BACHELOR OF SCHOOL ADOLFO VALAREZO CITY OF LOJA "whose overall objective is to know how it affects family function in alcohol and snuff in students Bachelor of Adolfo Valarezo College of the city of Loja, the present study is cross-correlational-descriptive, the sample consisted of 110 students, aged 14-18 years, the results were that the highest consumption of alcohol and snuff are students from households with dysfunction severe family and single / as parents; among the leading causes of consumption are family problems, and male gender the largest consumer, concluding that severe family dysfunction probably become risk factor for alcohol and snuff.
