| סיכום: | The Mirador beneficiation plant was built, installed and will be commissioned in July 2019. The expansion of the Mirador Norte plant considers the current production of 60,000 t/d (20 million t/a), increasing to 80,000 t/d (26.2 million t/a). After the expansion, the total production of the Mirador copper mine will be 140,000 t/d (46.2 million t/a). The Salvador-CODELCO division of the Concentrator Plant experienced low copper recoveries and a high ratio of oxidized copper (Kox) in the feed. For this reason, copper sulfidization in Rougher flotation was proposed as an alternative to increase copper recovery, a situation that has been achieved in recent years. At the National Polytechnic School, a basic preliminary design was made for a copper concentration plant, based on material from the Mirador Project; the design capacity was 5,000 t/day; this work is similar to the one proposed in this research study. The projected copper ore indicators of the Mirador Norte beneficiation plant are: 0.51% Cu, 0.17 g/t Au and 1.36 g/t Ag. The crushing and grinding technology adopts the SABC process "semi-automatic grinding + ball milling + hard rock crushing". For beneficiation, the "clean and sweep grinding, flotation, discharging, regrinding and flotation process" is used. The two-stage thickener process: "concentration + filtration" is used for the dewatering of the copper concentrate. The copper concentrate is packed and will be transported in two-ton big bags. The flotation and regrinding system will consist of three flotation circuits: the first for coarse flotation, composed of eleven cells, a nest of hydrocyclones and a vertical mill; a second vertical flotation circuit will have seven flotation columns; and finally, the third flotation circuit will have four cells. Grinding fineness is the key factor affecting the copper concentrate recovery rate. The production and operating costs mainly include electric power rate, steel, conveyor belt and mesh consumption and labor cost.
