Estudio de factibilidad para la aplicación de un plan estratégico de mejoramiento del sector caficultor de la parroquia “San Antonio de las Aradas” del cantón Quilanga

The present research work entitled: study of feasibility for the implementation of a PLAN strategic improvement the SECTOR GROWER of the parish SAN ANTONIO of LAS ARADAS from the CANTON QUILANGA, is a study that was executed in order to obtain information on the activities of the coffee sector, therefore arose as to the following objectives. Determine the coffee plantations in the sector such as their level of annual production of parish "San Antonio de las Aradas" of Canton Quilanga. Perform the SWOT study on the problem of the coffee plantations of the parish "San Antonio de las Aradas" of Canton Quilanga and; Develop the financial study of the feasibility of improvement of the growing sector of the parish "San Antonio de las Aradas" of Canton Quilanga. The following methods was used as: inductive, deductive, descriptive and statistical. In conjunction with the techniques were field observation and surveys, which have been applied to a sample of 20 farmers of the "San Antonio de las Boliqueime" parish of the canton of a universe of 75 Quilanga, which applied a population formula. Being the variables investigated the following: characterization of growers in the area, the internal environment analysis: strengths and weaknesses, external environment analysis; opportunities and threats, the projection: mission, mink and objectives, the selection of strategies, the selection of projects, the general programming and operational programming. Also growing sector, has little investment as a fortress to achieve an adequate production of coffee, conditions environmental chords to production and space on the grounds of growers, while its weaknesses soils damaged by constant erosion and production diseases in the seed of the coffee, are consequently strategic plan will be developed with an investment of $963.000 (credit banking) taking into account that sale in its natural state is $23 and processing is $141,70 with a performance of 60 kg. coffee per hectare and harvest.. Being the main conclusions: to perform a feasibility study for the implementation of a strategic plan for improvement of the growing sector of the parish "San Antonio de las Boliqueime" of the canton Quilanga, which are aimed at closing gaps in production, investment and profitability of the coffee production Establishes the following recommendation; the present feasibility and strategic development plan, to become an instrument of contribution for the improvement of agricultural production in farms of the growing sector of "San Antonio de las Boliqueime" parish of the canton Quilanga.
