| Summary: | The present investigation is of descriptive type, of transverse cut realized in the parish Yangana, Loja’s province, considering the period from April to September 2013. The sample I remain constituted by 83 children of the school of basic education ¨Fray Vicente Solano¨ Coproparasitario examination was performed by direct examination technique analyzing the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then applied a survey of parents, for environmental factors that affect the parasites such as hygiene practices, sanitary conditions. The results revealed the presence of parasites in 54% of the students, of which 63 % were males and 37% female. Tests demonstrate that the E. coproparasitarios Coli with the highest percentage to 40%, followed by E. Histolytica 35.55% and lowest percentage found to G. Lamblia with 3%. Whit regard to the environmental factors that affect in the intestinal parasitosis we find that the water consumption entubada whit 28,92%, bad hygienic habits, specifically in the hand wash before and after going to the bath with 54%, the elimination of the garbage that realize it outdoors with 30,12%. Whit the opposing results we can conclude that in the parish Yangana there exists the way adapted for the proliferation of parasites, is necessary to provide or facilitate medication to improve the health of children and therefore school performance. |
