Automation in certain justice administration processes is already a reality in Latin America which should be welcomed as it has the potential to solve conflicts swiftly and effectively. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the capacity to handle a wide range of information, serving objectively as an assistant to the judge. Therefore, it becomes crucial for the state to promote the application of artificial intelligence as an auxiliary tool for justice operators, aiming to strengthen the ecuadorian judicial system and progress towards the innovation and modernization of the legal field. This research encompasses pivotal aspects concerning artificial intelligence and its potential as a tool for justice operators, presenting an undeniable opportunity to enhance efficiency while respecting fundamental rights and principles determined in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. In this research work, a variety of materials and methods were employed to carry out a solid investigation and achieve the established objectives. Surveys and interviews were conducted with professionals and experts in the field of laws, who provided valuable information for the analysis of the proposed topic. |

Surveys and interviews were conducted with professionals and experts in the field of laws, who provided valuable information for the analysis of the proposed topic.El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Estudio de la aplicación de la Inteligencia Artificial en la Administración de Justicia”, pretende analizar la inteligencia artificial en la administración de justicia, respecto de su aplicación como herramienta para la descongestión, agilización, mejora y fortalecimiento del sistema de justicia, dado el avance de la tecnología donde protagoniza la inteligencia artificial, surgen nuevos paradigmas propios de análisis para ser utilizados en nuestro beneficio, haciendo más rápido y eficaz el trabajo de los operadores de justicia. El rápido avance de la Inteligencia Artificial protagoniza una transformación social y su desarrollo ha generado un amplio interés en su aplicación en el campo del derecho. La automatización en ciertos procesos de administración de justicia ya es una realidad en América Latina, por lo que este giro debe ser bienvenido, pues tiene la potencialidad de resolver conflictos con celeridad y eficacia, la inteligencia artificial tiene la capacidad de manejar grandes volúmenes de información sirviendo objetivamente como un auxiliar del juez. Por ende, se torna elemental que el Estado promueva la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial como herramienta auxiliar para los operadores de justicia en aras de fortalecer el sistema judicial ecuatoriano y avanzar hacia la innovación y modernización del derecho. El presente trabajo de investigación jurídica conlleva aspectos trascendentales sobre la inteligencia artificial y su potencial como herramienta para los operadores de justicia, lo que ofrece una oportunidad innegable de mejorar la eficiencia, de la mano del respeto a los derechos fundamentales, y a los principios consagrados en nuestra Constitución de la República del Ecuador.
