| Summary: | The present research work entitled PSYCHOSOCIAL RISKS IN THE TEACHERS OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT "BEATRIZ CUEVA DE AYORA" EVENING SECTION OF THE CITY OF LOJA AND THE INTERVENTION OF THE SOCIAL WORKER is focused on identifying the psychosocial risks to which teachers are exposed within their work environment and how they affect job performance. Psychosocial risks are characteristics of working conditions that affect people's health through psychological and physiological mechanisms called stress. The word psychosocial breaks down into Psycho because it affects through the psyche, which is the set of functions of the mind and social that refers to social origin. The purpose of the research lies in the development of a proposal for social action addressed to the teachers of the Educational Unit. The specific objectives that were set allowed to analyze the theoretical foundation of psychosocial risks, to carry out a situational diagnosis in the teaching staff to carry out the corresponding analysis and assessment of the information obtained and a proposal for social action was designed. The investigation counted with the participation of 45 teachers from the “Beatriz Cueva de Ayora” Educational Unit, afternoon section, for the development of the research work the scientific method was used which allowed to achieve an objective knowledge of reality, and in turn corroborate the information on the object of study through theories, making possible its scientific validity, relying on auxiliary methods such as inductive methods, which allowed the identification raised, on the other hand the deductive method allowed to describe, detail and explain the study problem, through analytical method it was possible to analyze and substantiate the theories, definitions of each of the study variables and in this way contrast with the reality of the teachers of the Educational Unit. The main findings show that the dimensions with the highest level of psychosocial risk to which the teachers of the Educational Unit are exposed are: leadership, margin of action and control, work organization, recovery, support and social support, workplace harassment, conditions of work, double presence, (work-family) and self-perceived health; These were determined through the application of the psychosocial risk assessment questionnaire in work spaces implemented by the Ministry of Labor 2018. |
