סיכום:At present it is a fact that academic music is still valid, but it is no longer consumed in the same way and for that reason its diffusion is limited compared to commercial music. This research work released the review and compilation of the works for orchestral and/or choral ensembles by composers from Loja: Hítalo Coello, Iván Salazar and Marcos Cañar, in order to disseminate and recognize the outstanding and important work in the academic compositional field. In the city of Loja there are several popular composers who have a great reception and are recognized nationally and internationally for their musical work, but in the academic compositional field the diffusion and acceptance of the lojano public is scarce. For the development of this research, the general objective was to contribute to the dissemination and recognition of composers from Loja who have made works for orchestral and / or choral ensembles in the first two decades of the 21st century. The methodological process of this research demonstrates a mixed approach, this type of research is non-experimental and rather descriptive, employing the use of interviews, surveys, study of documents in the field of reality to be investigated. Initially, the participation of 10 orchestra and choir directors was considered, however, due to the health emergency of Covid-19, the collaboration of 5 directors was obtained. Therefore, we worked with the following population: 3 composers from Loja to whom the structured interview was applied and 5 conductors of orchestra and choir in whom the survey was used, giving a total population of 8 musicians. A formal analysis of a work by each composer was carried out for exhibition purposes, for which the respective musical analysis was developed by fragments and sections through 5 which the form, tonality, metric and technical resources applied within the composition of the songs could be identified. plays. After this, use was made of the results obtained from the development of the analysis for audiovisual production. Through a discussion, the analysis of the works was presented, one from each composer and the audiovisual production was shown; In addition, with the participation of the composers, specific topics such as compositional characteristics, forms and styles, their contribution to academic music and compositional aesthetic taste were discussed. In conclusion, throughout the research development it was possible to show that composers and conductors of orchestral and / or choral ensembles believe that it is vitally important to reactivate diffusion spaces, especially in this health emergency of Covid-19, and therefore For the aforementioned reason, academic musical composition projects, workshops and competitions should be organized with their respective economic incentives, because in Ecuador most of the support is directed to artists with popular music. It is recommended that both public and private institutions in the cultural field promote and allocate funds for research work on composers from Loja, since this study has allowed to have clear ideas about the socio-cultural environment where they developed their life, thus giving a better orientation to understand its compositional forms.
