| Crynodeb: | The present research work allowed to determine the approximate fare of urban transport in the city of Loja in the year 2022. Therefore, the following objectives were established: propose an ad hoc methodology for the approximate calculation of the fare in the urban transport of the city of Loja, in addition, verify the legitimacy of the proposed methodology for urban transport that allows citizens to obtain a quality service. For this, the following methods were applied: deductive, analytical-synthetic, with a qualitative and quantitative approach which made it possible to determine the results of the surveys applied to the target population of 386 urban transport users, after calculating the sample of the population of the city of Loja; and the socialization of the approximate tariff proposal to determine its coherence and legitimacy before the actors involved, after applying the research techniques, based on a review of the tariff methodologies generated by the public and private entity, a methodology was determined that has no preference for the actors involved which received the name of "Between the public and the private" and which is based on transparency since it was born from the academy before the questioning about the public decision to maintain the urban transport rate in the face of the consortium's request to increase its value. Arising from the need to propose this methodology, a general rate of 39 cents and an average rate of 20 cents were obtained, the generation of the methodology was driven by the interest of citizens in seeing it necessary to implement a third proposal, so that any individual can understand what are the variables that influence within the urban transport fare and their justification. |
